TekPro is partnered with a leading contract manufacturer for heavy industries such as oil, gas, mining, fracking, and power, in their search for an experienced Process Engineer!

MANUFACTURING PROCESS ENGINEER

JOB DUTIES:

• Prepare and layout detailed manufacturing process plans for new parts utilizing Solidworks
• Review and interpret customer purchase order, drawings and specifications for incorporation into the manufacturing process plan.
• Review and interpret customer purchase order, drawings and specifications for manufacturing process plan compliance.
• Incorporate engineering changes to existing process plans.
• Review existing tool and gage inventory for use in the manufacturing process plan.
• Design and order new tooling as necessary.
• Interacting with manufacturing to resolve issues as they are encountered.

EVALUATION:

• Demonstrated ability to perform competently.
• The Director of Engineering will communicate openly on performance.
• College degrees, experience, external certifications, documented training, etc. will be considered. (See Education and/or Experience)

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associates/Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing Eng. related field and/or 5 years related experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of manufacturing, engineering & quality personnel.
