    We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our DAAS Micro Automated Routing System proposal supporting Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in multiple locations nationwide.   

    Responsible for performing separate tasks in support of DLA DAAS Micro Automated Routing System (DMARS), Personal Computer (PC) Application, Web Application, and Product Integration initiatives identified under the

    DAAS profiles which include DData, and DGate. Members of the task order will be required to collaborate with the various Government teams and other DAAS Contractor teams to ensure this initiative is successful. 

    The tasks set forth in the technical support are necessary to develop, enhance, implement and maintain the DLA DAAS Micro Automated Routing System (DMARS), PC Applications, Web Applications, and Product Integration that will support current and future DAAS initiatives. The team members shall provide developmental and technical support services: to manage the development and maintenance of applications based on the requirements defined by the Enterprise Remedy IT Service Management system (ITSM). The systems developed/modified during this process shall be subjected to independent verification and validation processes, including all application softwaredeveloped, both by the Government and other Contractor personnel.

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Responsible for effective provisioning, operation, installation/configuration and maintenance of systems hardware/software/related infrastructure.

    • Provide technical support, guidance and hands-on delivery in the planning, implementation and ongoing operation of databases.

    • Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.

    • Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to

    organizational values and regulatory requirements.

    • Documents specifications, project plans, configurations, test plans and results.

    • Depicts complex ideas, issues and designs to varied audiences; communicates project objectives, scope and status to project teams.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Personnel must have several years’ experience in supporting DOD Program Acquisition Category (ACAT) I Level and ACAT III level IT development programs in the areas of program management (PM), systems engineering (SE) related functional/technical quality, cost analysis (CA), and configuration management (CM) assessments and audits of DOD IT program lifecycle requirements, documents, and data and their compliance with DOD acquisition policies and regulations.

    • Five (5) years of overall professional experience in the engineering field.

    • Five (5) years’ experience in Oracle and/or SQL Server database administration and analysis support. Proposed Oracle systems engineer personnel shall be fully trained and experienced with the Windows and HP Unix operating systems (Windows Server 2008 R2 / HP-UX 11.3.x), Oracle Database 11g database technology, PL/SQL programming, Oracle stored procedures, database performance tuning, E-R database design principles and methodology, backup and recovery, systems analysis, security practices and system documentation. Proposed SQL systems engineer personnel shall be fully trained and industry recognized Microsoft Certified personnel experienced and familiar with both Windows 2008 and 2008 R2 operating systems, SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2 database administration, T-SQL programming, database performance tuning, backup and recovery, systems analysis, security practices and system  documentation.
