    We are seeking a PKI System Administrator to join our proposal on a contract supporting NCMS SIPRNET PKI and KMI.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and maintain NCMS PKI systems, their images, perform operating system migration/updates ensuring standardization across the NCMS PKI enterprise, to include distribution of all software and hardware to NCMS detachments.

    • Coordinate System Administrator (SA) efforts to maintain a high level of system efficiency and security. Assist the team with ongoing training requirements and machine troubleshooting as applied to NCMS systems and associated NMCI networks.

    • Develop and maintain standard system security and disaster recovery plans, and ensure implementation across the enterprise.

    • Develop and maintain architecture Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation to include illustrations of PKI POR topology, system access requirements and processes for obtaining material and replacement hardware and software.

    • Function as the NCMS PKI liaison to external IT support teams that provided services pertaining to System access, network access, peripheral devices. Liaison support includes working with the government ISSM and ISSO to achieve and maintain ATO requirements.

    • Perform recurring Cybersecurity tasks to include ensuring PKI systems are maintained up-to-date with the latest anti-virus definitions, systems are configured for and receive Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans, systems are patched per DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) requirements, and that systems are configured in accordance with the latest Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). SA’s shall ensure ACAS and STIG results are provided to the ISSM in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A) efforts. 

    • System Administrators shall create system installation media and images using Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Secure Host Baseline (SHB) Framework as required to install or upgrade PKI systems or recover failed PKI systems. They shall also utilize NMCI provided Developer (DEV) Community of Interest (COI) system restoration tools/images for PKI systems residing on NMCI DEV COI assets when required to bring a new PKI DEV COI system online or repair a failed system.

    • Perform PKI System backups in accordance with local command disaster recovery polices.

    • Troubleshoot and solve PKI workstation system errors, printer issues, bulk formatter issues, basic network connectivity issues, and perform user account management.

      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+ years of experience supporting PKI System Administration

    • Must hold active IAT Level II or above certification

    • Must hold Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or other relevant computing environment certification to support DoD 8570 compliance
