TECHNICAL WRITER

Location: Primarily remote with some work in Sunnyvale, CA

Tekberry, a Bloom Energy premier staffing partner, is looking for highly qualified and motivated TECHNICAL WRITER PRIMARILY WORKING REMOTELY WITH SOME OFFICE VISITS TO SUNNYVALE, CA. Bloom's unique on-site power generation systems are among the most efficient on the planet, providing significantly reduced operating costs and producing dramatically lower greenhouse gas emissions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create Maintenance Instructions that include preventative procedures, alignment procedures, operating procedures, lock out tag out procedures, bill of materials, spares list.
• Manage the Equipment Engineering documentation system. Documents to include vendor manuals, assembly and detailed drawings, bill of materials, etc.
• Familiar with Safety Standards such as SEMI S2, UL
• Provide support to engineers:
  • manage Solidworks CAD models, drawings, and assemblies.
  • Manage top level assemblies in an Agile PDM system environment.
  • Control drawing and model releases through an ECO process.
  • Work closely with Equipment Engineers and Maintenance Managers to create clear, concise instructions.

Education and Experience:

• BS in related field (English, Engineering) or 10+ years of technical writing experience
• Experience (5+ years) in documenting procedures and creating content.
• Superior communication skills, (written, verbal and active listening.)
• Highly motivated self-starter, capable of self management with little to no oversight
• Highly organized, results driven proven capabilities.
