    Job Description: Education Trainer

    We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Education Trainer to join our team. The Education Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to SPD Techs, and other stakeholders involved in implementing competency-based educational models. They will play a key role in assisting with partnered sites, management, and educational organizations across various levels in adopting and effectively implementing competency education principles, strategies, and best practices.

    Job Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs: Conduct initial and ongoing training and webinars to educate Techs, leaders, and other stakeholders about competency-based education (CBE) principles, strategies, and frameworks.

    2. Facilitate professional development: Deliver engaging and interactive training experiences that help educators understand the core concepts of CBE, develop competency-based curriculum and assessments, and master effective instructional practices aligned with the model.

    3. Conduct needs analysis: Assess the competency levels of participants and identify specific areas for improvement. Tailor training content and delivery methods to meet the unique needs and skill levels of diverse audiences.

    4. Provide training resources and materials: Develop and distribute training materials, instructional guides, and resources to assist educators in transitioning from traditional education to competency-based learning.

    5.Stay updated on industry trends: Continuously research advancements in competency education, innovative instructional techniques, emerging technologies, and best practices. Incorporate new knowledge and strategies into training programs to enhance their relevance and effectiveness.

    6. Evaluate training effectiveness: Conduct post-training evaluations to measure participants' understanding and skill development in relation to CBE principles. Analyze feedback and make necessary adjustments to training content and delivery methods to continuously improve overall training quality.

    7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with managers, curriculum specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between training programs and broader CBE initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    - Proven experience as a trainer or educator within the competency-based education space.
    - Strong knowledge and understanding of competency-based education principles, frameworks, and best practices.
    - Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, educate, and inspire diverse audiences.
    - Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
    - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
    - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    - Proficiency in using learning management systems and instructional technology tools.
    - Willingness to travel, as needed, to deliver in-person training sessions at various locations.
