Job Overview:
As a Vertex Tax and Oracle Cloud Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring
Oracle Financial and Vertex tax solutions for various Legal Entities across different countries. Your primary focus will be
on ensuring successful implementation to meet specific tax and financial requirements, collaborating closely with
stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and provide ongoing support.
Nice to Have:
- Certification(s) in Vertex tax software (e.g., Vertex Certified Professional).
- Certification(s) Oracle ERP Financial Modules ( AP, AR, GL, FA).
- Experience in Certificate Exemption process, configuration and setup in Vertex O.
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of Oracle Cloud ERP experience
- Knowledgeable in GL and AP, AR financial modules
- Experience with 1-2 implementations of Oracle Cloud for non-US countries
- 3+ years of experience in tax technology implementation
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, especially in sales and use tax
- Experience in Tax Link and Vertex for tax software solutions
- Vertex tax solutions experience for Use Tax and Sales Tax across multiple legal entities (e.g., US, Canada, Italy,
- Turkey, UK)
Skills Required:
- Configuration and customization of Oracle Finance modules
- Integration of Vertex tax solutions with ERP or financial systems
- Testing and quality assurance of Oracle Cloud financial modules and Vertex tax implementations
- Training and support for end-users on Oracle Cloud and Vertex tax software
- Documentation related to Oracle financials and Vertex tax implementations
- Continuous improvement of tax compliance processes
TOP 3:
- Strong Oracle Cloud ERP experience, particularly in GL, AP, and AR modules
- Expertise in tax technology implementation, including Vertex tax solutions
- Experience with international implementations of Oracle Cloud ERP
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field- Preferred)
