Fire Protection Company has an immediate opening for a sales / estimating position of automatic fire sprinkler systems. Job Responsibilities are to work with a team as a part of the construction trade to layout system components and take off material, fabrication, design and labor to create a project estimate.
_ Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:_
- Experience in fire protection design and NFPA codes.
- Understand fire protection system layout, design and hydraulic calculation process.
- Working knowledge of project documents
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Intermediate or above experience in Excel and Word is helpful.
- Problem solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication
- Good customer relation skills.
- Be a team player
- Must have valid WSDL
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
- Review construction contract documents
- Lay out and take-off fire sprinkler systems for estimate take-off.
- Determine material and labor cost for bid of projects
- Prepare proposal for customers
- Follow up with customers of projects bid.
- Ability to interact well with all levels of individuals both externa and internal
- Must be proficient in the use of personal computers to include windows and excel
