Position Summary
The Telecom Project Manager will oversee fiber deployment projects from planning through execution. This role requires strong coordination across internal teams, contractors, and municipalities to ensure projects move forward efficiently and meet project timelines.
This is a remote position. Due to the client's project activity being heavily concentrated in Texas, candidates located in Texas are preferred. Experience working with TXDOT permitting processes is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Manage telecom infrastructure projects from planning through execution
Review detailed telecom engineering plans for accuracy prior to construction
Coordinate permitting processes with municipalities and regulatory jurisdictions
Track project schedules, documentation, and reporting using Smartsheet and Excel
Communicate regularly with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
Utilize tools such as Google Earth to support project planning and analysis
Adapt to and work within client-specific project management systems as required
Monitor project progress and address issues that may impact schedules or deliverables
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wireline telecom engineering and construction environments
Experience supporting FTTH (Fiber to the Home) projects
Ability to read and review telecom engineering plans and documentation
Experience coordinating telecom permitting activities
Proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, and Google Earth
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
