Role: Telecommunications Analyst
Location: Hampton, VA
Must be able to obtain SECRET CLEARANCE.
Description:
As a Telecommunications Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting both remote and onsite telecommunications infrastructure, focusing on Cisco routers and switches, tactical radios (e.g., PRC117, URC 200/300, CM 300/350 V2), and Sunhillo serial-to-IP converters. You’ll ensure operational readiness by installing, configuring, and troubleshooting both hardware and software. This role also includes customer-facing responsibilities such as gathering diagnostics, presenting performance reports, and providing end-user training.
Key Qualifications:
Strong background in Cisco networking technologies and radio communications equipment
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues and interconnectivity challenges
Familiar with network integrity testing and performance reporting
Experienced in planning and executing equipment moves and installations
Able to coach junior personnel and lead technical tasks when needed
Excellent communication skills for customer support and technical training.

CompTIA Security+ certification (required)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on technical experience.
