  • Responsibilities

    CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned management consulting and digital transformation company, is looking for a highly motivated Telecommunications Support Technician to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This position will assist in providing support to end users on a variety of issues.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
    • Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
    • Documents, tracks and monitors issues to ensure a timely resolution.
    • Identifies current or anticipated problem areas relating to telecommunications hardware and software systems.
    • Provides asset management and tracking support of cellular, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP), analog, circuits and broadband services, and associated equipment.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Associate’s degree or 2 years of experience in Information Technology or in a related area.
    • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Information Technology Service Management.
    • Experience relying on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
    • Experience performing a variety of complicated tasks.
    • Knowledge of telecom assets of cellular, VoIP, analog, circuits and broadband services.
