    Job Summary

    Field Service Technician – Low Voltage Installations, IT Networking & Telecommunications Technician needed for local Albuquerque Company. Motivated individual who finds the telecommunications industry exciting and is interested in working with a great group of people. We are looking for an IT Generalist with experience in Structured wiring, IP Networking, and VoIP solutions.

    Responsibilities

    Installation of Fiber Optic & CAT 6 Cable

    Troubleshoots/diagnosis equipment issues on site and remotely.

    Installation and troubleshooting of VoIP and legacy phone systems

    Installation and troubleshooting of security cameras and access control

    Collaborate with IT and network teams to integrate telephony systems with other network services.

    Troubleshoot and resolve cable issues related to both traditional and VOIP telephony systems.

    Monitor telephony system performance and reliability, addressing any issues promptly.

    Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on telephony systems.

    Document telephony system configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures.

    Stay up to date with the latest advancements in traditional and VoIP telephony technologies.

    Site Surveys - Plan installations by evaluating location; locating access; laying-out equipment and wiring.

    Qualifications

    Mitel certifications are highly desired.

    ES-7 license highly desired.

    Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing traditional telephony systems.

    Hands-on experience with VOIP technologies (SIP, T1, PRI, VoIP) and platforms.

    Ability to install and troubleshoot video security and access control systems.

    Structured Cabling Experience with Category 5e/Cat6, Fiber Optic installation, termination and testing.

    Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols related to telephony.

    Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.

    Strong organizational and documentation skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

    Must be comfortable working on your feet, in tight spaces, and a variety of weather conditions

    Required Experience:

    Excellent customer service

    Be able to lift 50 lbs. and ability to climb ladders.

    Valid driver's license.

    Be able to test negative on a per-employment drug test.

    Must have clean driving record.
