Job Description

This opportunity for the Inside Sales Specialist will have the responsibility over all aspects of customer communication from the time a customer request for quote arrives, until the time the customer sends a purchase order for the goods quoted and the accepted order is handed off to the contracts department.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role will serve as the focal point for all customer communications before the order is handed over to contracts.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

• Applicable degree in Engineering or advanced Technical diploma plus directly related experience in an Inside Sales related position.
• Basic knowledge of electronic controls, pneumatic and electric actuators, mechanical systems.
• Experience in the sale of engineered industrial valve automation products through direct and indirect channels is an asset.
• Experienced in sales of and application of Fluid Power Products

• Enthusiastic, goal oriented and eager to meet or exceed departmental sales objectives and project deadlines.
• Able to prioritize work load and multi-task in a fast paced & constantly changing environment.
• Must be able to apply multi-disciplinary engineering concepts to effectively support custom product requests while providing cost savings and innovative solutions.
