    YOUR OPPORTUNITY

    Telgian is looking for a hands-on VENDOR ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE to provide support on the full procurement cycle, including supplier identification, market research, drafting and publishing RFP(s), supplier selection, price and scope negotiation, contract editing, issuance, dispute resolution, care and feeding of partners, follow up, analysis and reporting. You will drive results for on-time work completion, research vendors, and meet daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Proactively monitor, manage, and analyze vendor coverage (materials and services) to ensure proper coverage and recruit new vendors as needed to meet business objectives
    • Negotiate vendor terms and pricing as needed to meet business objectives.
    • Complete and issue RFP's as needed and follow‐up to ensure on‐time receipt of quotations.
    • Assist in the periodic maintenance of all standard RFP templates to ensure Telgian standards and terms and conditions are represented.
    • Assist in the periodic maintenance of all standard vendor agreements and contracts to ensure Telgian standards and terms and conditions are represented
    • Issue product, material, services, confidentiality and other purchasing agreements and PO(s) to vendors; follow up to ensure receipt of signed documents. Review desired vendor changes as required and re‐issue as approved.
    • Obtain and process all vendor materials invoicing through Accounts Payable.
    • Coordinate all material returns and defective components to ensure credits are obtained and posted, new materials are provided, and contractor back charges occur as required.
    • Responsible for maintaining existing vendor relationships including, but not limited to, developing, and maintaining vendor scorecards, visiting vendors onsite, and resolving escalated vendor issues.
    • Responsible for obtaining favorable pricing and terms from vendors and suppliers based on current market cost and regional requirements. Participates in all customer opportunity calls to support coordination of new customer onboarding, drafts and negotiates labor and supply contracts as appropriate.
    • Analyze market and delivery system to assess present and future material availability.

    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education Requirements-High School Diploma or equivalent required, College degree preferred
    • Customer Service experience required, Fire Protection knowledge preferred
    • Full cycle Vendor Procurement experience, Supply Chain experience, preferred
