  • Responsibilities

    Summary: The Pastry Cook is responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and other desserts while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Collaboration with the kitchen team and adherence to established recipes and procedures are essential for success in this role.

    Responsibilities:

    • Measure and mix ingredients to prepare doughs, batters, and fillings.
    • Bake a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts per restaurant menu.
    • Decorate and finish pastries with precision and attention to detail.
    • Follow established recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency.
    • Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished products.
    • Ensure that pastries meet the established standards for taste and presentation.
    • Clean and organize pastry station, equipment, tools, and ingredients, ensuring proper stock levels.
    • Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards, including proper storage and labeling.
    • Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
    • Prepare and deliver pastries in a timely manner for service.
    • Communicate effectively with restaurant management and other team members.
    • Adhere to Company policies and procedures related to guest services and hospitality.

    Must Haves:

    • Previous experience as a pastry cook or similar role.
    • Culinary school or relevant pastry training is a plus.
    • Knowledge of baking techniques, pastry equipment, and ingredients.
    • Creativity and artistic skills for pastry decoration.
    • Attention to detail and precision in pastry preparation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations

    • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
