This role plays a crucial part in helping a fast-growing company achieve its goals by directly assisting fleet customers in reducing emissions. You'll be a customer-facing expert on the company's innovative technology, responsible for installation, service, and support.
Responsibilities:
- Master the company's product fuel system offering and its various components (electrical, mechanical, software)
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair the system on-site
- Interpret technical documents, diagrams, and manuals
- Train other fleet technicians on the system
- Provide technical support to customers via telephone, email or in person
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication
- Address customer needs effectively and reliably
- Resolve technical issues using internal and external resources
- Assist with manufacturing and assembly of the system components
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle or equipment installation, repair, and/or diagnostics
- Expertise in electrical and mechanical systems with proven troubleshooting skills
- ASE Diesel certification and/or military service experience and/or significant equivalent work experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both workers and customers
- Ability to follow complex instructions and comprehend technical documents
- Proficiency in MS Office or similar software
- Independent and self-directed with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a variety of environments and handle physically demanding tasks with little to no supervision necessary
- Ability to prioritize the workload without direct supervision
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
- Significant domestic travel required (75%+)
- Flexible hours of operation and work occurring in a variety of environments such (outdoor, warehouse)
- Commitment to following safety and health protocols
- Ability to work safely around a variety of particulates and lubricants
