The Director of HR will play a key role in shaping the company's culture, attracting and retaining top talent, and supporting the growth and development of the employees. You will be a strategic partner to leadership and a champion for our employees, ensuring a positive and productive work environment for all.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
- Lead the recruitment and onboarding of top talent across all levels of the organization.
- Create and manage employee development programs, performance management systems, and compensation and benefits packages.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by championing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Oversee compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Build and lead a high-performing HR team and will be an active member of the Leadership team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Partner with leadership on organizational development initiatives, including culture building, change management, and talent planning.
- Partner with COO to ensure cultural alignment
- Apply a data-driven analytical approach and identify a critical people approach to track the progress against talent and HR initiatives
- Strive towards a more equitable and diverse environment for all to create a fair and inclusive workplace
- Stay abreast of HR trends and best practices and implement innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the company.
- Ensure to comply with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources and/or People Operations, preferably in a startup company
- Minimum of 4 years experience in HR leadership roles
- Familiarity and comfort with ATS and HRIS software
- Proven ability to architect corporate culture to align values, performance development tools and stages of employee lifecycle
- Prior experience scaling a tech culture
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills; an ability and desire to take ownership of one’s workload
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strategic mindset and ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- SHRM, PHR, or other Human Resources Certification preferred
