Introduction

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join the Telly team as part of our QA team. As a member of the Telly QA team, you will be introduced to a variety of new and exciting technologies that are the foundation of Telly.

Duties and Responsibilities

On the QA team, you will be helping to achieve Sprint goals by testing new functionality for each release and verification of bug fixes.

• Work with engineering on creating new test cases around new features and capabilities
• Completing assigned test cases assigned for build qualification (Mobile App, Telly OS, Firmware, and Cloud Services)
• Daily verification of fixed QA tickets in Jira; Monitoring incoming QA tickets and burning them down to make Sprint goals
• Provide QA support for customer tickets elevated to engineering
• Work with leadership, engineering, and QA team members to triage issues, testing, and verification of bug fixes
• Assist with demo setups and troubleshoot issues

Minimum Requirements

• Worked in the QA role for 5 years or more
• Familiar with QA methodologies (test case creation, test execution, bug writing and reporting)
• Experience with bug tracking and test tracking tools
• Experience with Hardware and Software test qualification - specifically with Consumer Electronics, Home Theater, Audio and Video products
• Worked in a customer-facing role in customer support
• Must be a self-starter, the ability to work independently, and cross-functionally with our development team and executive management
