    Telos Gifting is growing, and we need an enthusiastic, skilled, and detailed oriented Accounting Associate to join our team to help us scale and support our Accounting and Finance teams.

    THE COMPANY

    Wolfe, LLC, Telos Gifting's parent company, is an e-commerce company, located in Pittsburgh, PA, focused on next-generation gifting business models. We are well known for being the company that started the first coupon website in 1995 which sold to a public company in 2000, at the peak of the dot-com era, when we were delivering 20 million page views per month.

    We then built Direct Response Technologies; grew it to 70 employees; and sold it to Digital River in 2006. We spun off Jambo Media with our tech team and sold it to Undertone in 2012. We built and focused on GiftCards.com and in 2016 sold it to Blackhawk Network with over 100 employees.

    Telos Gifting current focus is Gift Card Granny, Perfect Gift, and GiftYa. We have grown from 25 employees / contractors in 2019 to 94 in 2021. We are experiencing triple digit growth year over year for 3 years.     THE ROLE

     In this role you will assist the accounting and finance teams in essential accounting functions ensuring accuracy and compliance. Prepare and report financial data among other accounting tasks in support of a privately held company with several divisions and business units. Focused on reconciling the company's statements and bookkeeping ledgers. Assist in managing expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases, reconciling invoices, and review financial statements for errors and make adjustments accordingly. Also, assists in performance of various clerical duties, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, by using basic data entry in an accounting system.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in preparation of timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
    • Place online orders for gift card inventory
    • Create vendor invoices in proprietary software
    • Enter and reconcile daily credit card deposits
    • Review bulk transaction files for accuracy
    • Reconcile daily transaction files to bank activity
    • Import daily transaction files into proprietary software
    • Reconcile intercompany accounts
    • Prepare bank reconciliations
    • Support A/P function by tracking receipts and other tasks
    • Other Duties as Assigned

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field, preferred
    • 2 years' experience in related function
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Experience with SAP Concur, preferred
    • Excellent understanding of accounting rules, procedures, and bookkeeping principles
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
    • Advanced Excel skills, such as the use of Pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently
