TEMA ISENMANN INC., a producer of urethane screen media and wear liners based in Lexington, Kentucky, is accepting applications for a Regional Sales Rep. This position will be for the Southern California Aggregate and Mining market working from our Corona, California office. Applicants are expected to have a good basic technical understanding of mining operations and equipment, especially screening equipment and screening media. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain and grow the current business in the Southern California, San Luis Obispo and Kern Counties south to the border. • Maintain and grow the current business in the Southern California aggregate, cement, concrete, and mining industries • Research and develop additional sales opportunities in all facets of the aggregate, cement, concrete, recycling, and mining industries. • Build and develop trusting relationships with customers in the aggregate, cement, concrete, recycling, and mining industries. • Build and develop trusting relationships with customers in the aggregate, cement, concrete, recycling, and mining industries. • Build and develop trusting relationships with TEMA ISENMANN coworkers. • Analyze, track, and report market conditions and sales opportunities. • Continue to improve and organize the stocked products for existing customers at the warehouse. • Maintain and operate the Southern California warehouse to stock items needed by the existing customers in the territory in an organized and efficient manner. • Schedule and maintain the required travel schedule to properly cover the territory and deliver orders of stocked items within the time frame needed by the customer. • Any and all other duties required for the success and development in the defined territory. QUALIFICATIONS: • Must reside in the area listed in the job description or willing to relocate • Experience in mining or aggregates at the plant level is a plus. • A good knowledge of aggregate, mining, concrete, and cement operations and equipment. • Strong computer skills. • Excellent reporting, communication, and verbal skills. • An honest and ethical work standard. • Knowledge of existing mining operations in southern California is preferred. • Ability to learn to operate a forklift and load and unload shipments • Clean driver’s license • Sales Force (CRM) experience is a plus • Able to lift 25lbs and sit for driving for lengthy periods.
Experience in mining equipment sales preferred.
COMPENSATION: TEMA ISENMANN offers a comprehensive compensation package to all its employees, this is based on past experience, knowledge and is negotiable. This position offers a base salary with commission on sales as well as other benefits offered by the company.
