    JOB-SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS

    Acquire pertinent information by interviewing customer and then describe available insurance products.

    After an analysis of the customer’s situation, provide a description of features and benefits relating to policies and products offered and propose to customer amount and type of coverage based on the analysis.

    Compute and quote premium rates for recommended policies.

    Contact policyholders to clarify policy, and assist by proposing adjustments or additions in insurance options, or to make changes in beneficiaries.

    Obtain loan approval or answer any unresolved questions concerning application information or credit history through appropriate communication with creditors. Approve loan within allocated limits. Notify applicant of loan acceptance or denial.

    Enable efficient operation of Finance and Insurance transactions by maintaining amiable and professional relationships with local banks and credit bureau reporting agencies. Establish closing and vehicle delivery date through consultation with sales representative.

    Gather and create necessary forms and other documentation as well as arrange loan closing and vehicle delivery.

    Establish credit history and initiate credit bureau investigation.

    Determine viability of granting loan through analysis of applicant financial status, credit history etc.

    Inspect, assess, and authorize, or recommend, approval of customer application for consumer credit loans.

    Answer customer questions, correct if necessary, and ask for signature on all forms, specifically loan application and information authorization forms.

    Calculate monthly payment. Inform applicant of credit report, specifically principal borrowed, interest rate, term, monthly payment, and other costs.

    Enter necessary information into the computer and keep to procedures to make certain proper and timely completion of all paperwork. Confirm accuracy of all forms.

    Achieve specific product sales quotas as allocated by the sales manager.

    Consult with potential credit customers to determine available monthly income after living expenses to meet credit obligations. Solicit specified information for loan application.

    Utilize a selling protocol that strongly emphasizes features and benefits so that all customers experience reliable interactions with the dealership.

    Expound on the features of all products to customers in addition to their benefits.

    Demonstrate to each customer advantages of products over competing brands. Establish their interest in the products presented to them.
