    Title: Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk

    Location: Hawthorne, CA 90250

    Schedule: 2 days per week (16 hrs/wk)

    Start: ASAP

    Duration: ongoing

    Pay range: $24-28/hr

    Department: Accounting

    Reports to: Director of Accounting

    Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting with the company’s full accounts payable cycle.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Reviewing Accounts Payable invoices for accuracy, necessary approvals, and proper coding

    • Process the inflow of invoices via email, mail, and vendor portals

    • Data Entry of invoices

    • Correspond and resolve AP inquiries quickly and accurately for both Internal (employee) and external (vendor)

    • Collect 1099 from new vendor to set up in Dynamics 365 and BlueCherry

    • File and maintain vendor files

    • General knowledge and understanding of accounting procedures Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately

    • Prepare AP checks for mailing

    • Other related duties as required

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 1-3 years accounting experience, with 2-3 years in the Apparel industry

    • Knowledge of GAAP

    • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of BlueCherry a plus

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills-able to interact with all levels of management

    • Ability to handle multi-faceted projects with strong follow through

    • Commitment to quality, motivated self-starter and takes ownership of work
