    Job Description

    Responsibilities include:

    ·         Develop and maintain successful customer relationships.

    ·         Satisfy customer/prospect inquiries with solutions oriented and timely proposals.

    ·         Review customer specifications to determine equipment specifications, features and special requirements.

    ·         Work with engineering and technical staff to clarify customer needs and develop specifications

    ·         Provide strategic product recommendations, pricing, and solutions to meet customer needs

    ·         Compile and write customer/prospect proposals/quotations.

    ·         Participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations.

    ·         Participate in the order entry process.

    ·         Travel as needed to support customer requirements, make presentation, and participate in trade show activities.

     

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    ·         Engineering AA/BS in, Technical Field, or equivalent successful experience in a similar industry. Experience 3–5 Years in Engineering or Customer Service.

    ·         Preferred Education and Experience

    ·         General knowledge in temperature measurement or sensors, Technical Sales Support experience.

    ·         Proven Project Management skills.

    ·         Proficient in Microsoft Office

    ·         Effective negotiation skills

    ·         Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to support the Sales department of our company in its primary duties, help plan and implement our sales activities, responsible for a wide variety of technical sales/support duties for Sales Manager, current and prospective customers. Duties involve translating customer needs and specifications, converting into sales proposals/quotations to maximize sales and margin growth. You will work both independently and as part of a team reporting to the Sales Manager.
