    Overview:
    Our client, a leading organization in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, is seeking an experienced Sourcer to join their Talent Acquisition team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional with a strong sourcing background, particularly within technical and hard-to-fill positions.

    The recruiter will partner closely with the TA team to build targeted candidate pipelines, drive proactive outreach, and support strategic hiring initiatives across the business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute sourcing strategies and identify qualified passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, resume databases, and other sourcing tools

    • Support a variety of high-priority technical roles across engineering, design, project management, and related AEC functions

    • Conduct initial outreach and pre-screens to assess candidate interest and fit

    • Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and provide updates on candidate status

    • Collaborate with TA team members to align on sourcing goals and market insights

    • Assist with recruiting campaigns, talent mapping, and employer branding efforts

    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing and initial engagement process

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field

    • 5+ years of sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in the AEC industry

    • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and resume databases

    • Demonstrated ability to source and screen passive candidates for technical and niche roles

    • Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., UKG, iCIMS)

    • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    Additional Details:

    • Hybrid schedule (3 days/week on-site in Reston, VA)

    • Urgent need – candidates must be available to start immediately
