PPS is seeking a detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to fill a temporary role at our new fabrication facility in Phoenix! The role will last approximately 3-6 months, and will consist of assisting the HR Generalist and Manager with administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, performing background checks, ordering drug screens, and answering candidate questions
- Maintain Human Resource files and records to ensure consistent data accuracy
- Ensure appropriate information is conveyed to and from hiring managers, such as score cards and interview feedback
- Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee databases and sorting emails for the HR department
- Other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of administrative experience
- Understanding of HR principles and practices
- Proficiency regarding MS Office, Excel, and navigating software and websites
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience collaborating inter-departmentally and with external contacts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fine attention-to-detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
