Introduction

This position involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade workflow orchestration solutions using Temporal. The Temporal Consultant will be responsible for migrating legacy BPM/workflow implementations, developing durable workflow patterns, implementing integrations, and ensuring resilient execution across distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Analyze legacy workflow platforms and identify migration patterns

Design, develop, and maintain Temporal workflows, activities, and orchestration patterns

Lead migration of legacy BPM/workflow solutions to Temporal, including workflow analysis and conversion

Support workflow versioning, resiliency, and long-running process execution

Build and support integrations with APIs, event streams, databases, and enterprise applications

Develop reusable workflow frameworks, adapters, and accelerators to improve delivery speed and consistency

Create unit, integration, and workflow validation tests

Execute testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of workflow solutions

Support deployment, observability, CI/CD, and production stabilization of Temporal-based applications

Requirements

Required Skills (5-7 yrs of experience)

Temporal - Temporal Workflows, Activities, Child Workflows, Signals & Queries, Workflow Versioning, Durable Execution Concepts, Retry & Error Handling Patterns, Temporal CLI and Observability Tools

Development - Java (Preferred)

Preferred Skills (3-5 yrs of experience)

Development - Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, JSON/XML Processing, Git/GitHub

Integration - Kafka / Event Streaming, SOAP & REST Services, Database Integration, Enterprise Application Integration Patterns, DevOps & Cloud
