We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Temporary Clerk to provide general clerical and administrative support for a public transportation organization in San Antonio, Texas. This temporary position supports daily office operations by performing routine administrative tasks, assisting staff, and helping maintain organized and efficient workflows.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and comfortable handling repetitive clerical duties in a structured office environment. This role is well-suited for individuals seeking entry-level office experience or short-term administrative assignments. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of administrative, clerical, or office support experience
- Experience answering and routing multi-line phone systems
- Experience with data entry, filing, and document organization
- Basic experience using office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and fax machines
- Ability to perform typing and general computer tasks accurately
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Experience Preferences:
- Experience working in a government, public agency, or transportation-related environment
- Customer service or front-desk/receptionist experience
- Experience handling mail distribution and document management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Physical Requirements:
