Temporary Medication Support Assistant
THIS IS A TEMPORARY SUBCONTRACTOR POSITION
We are a behavioral health agency that provides school-based therapeutic services to children, adolescents and their families. We are in a need of a temporary Medication Support Assistant for 10-20 hours per week from February 1, 2026 through June 4th, 2026.
Responsibilities (may include some or all):
This is primarily a remote position but requires on-site work approximately 1-2 times per month or as needed by the agency
Set up medication support appointments including Teams links
Make reminder calls to clients about appointments
Set up schedule and enter information into electronic health record system
Translate/interpret Spanish-speaking clients for psychiatrist
Contact pharmacies to follow up on prescriptions
Take client vitals and enters in chart
Coordinate psychiatrist’s and clinicians’ client sessions and send out schedules to all stakeholders each week.
Facilitate communication between psychiatrist and clinicians
Ensure required medication support paperwork is completed and signed by clients, parents/caregivers, and psychiatrist and uploads paperwork in charts
Assist psychiatrist with other routine requests, as necessary
Available for after hours (i.e., 6:00 p.m.)
Required Qualifications:
Must be Spanish speaking
Have good communication skills
Be highly organized
A medical background is a plus
Must be computer literate.: Able to create documents, use Microsoft Teams and use basic computer programs. Must be able to help clients/parent login to programs and platforms.
