A municipal law firm based in Issaquah is seeking a Temporary Paralegal/Legal Assistant (4812) to provide leave coverage beginning late October. This 12-week role offers the opportunity to support both litigation and transactional work in a collegial, casual office environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, court filing experience, and a proactive, flexible approach. This is a great opportunity for a legal administrative professional seeking a full-time temporary engagement with a public law focus.

What You’ll Do:

• E-file documents with superior courts and assist with document formatting and proofing
• Schedule meetings, track deadlines, and manage litigation and transactional calendars
• Coordinate service of process and conduct online records research
• Record legal documents such as liens, judgments, and property-related filings with the county assessor
• Use Adobe Pro for tasks like Bates stamping and document assembly
• Support both litigation and municipal transactional matters as part of a small legal team

What They’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of litigation and/or municipal law administrative experience preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Pro, MS Office, DropBox, Teams, and cloud-based VPN access
• Ability to work independently and handle both litigation and transactional duties
• Experience with Tabs a plus; PowerPoint skills not required, but helpful for editing
• Detail-oriented with excellent time and task management skills
• Comfortable with a flexible and collaborative work environment

This is a key temporary role providing critical support during a team member’s leave. The role is 40 hours per week, though 32 hours may be considered (must be available on Fridays). While in-office work in Issaquah is preferred, there is flexibility based on the candidate’s location and experience. Apply today!
