About the Role:

Join The Learning Tree as a Temporary Summer Childcare Teacher and make a positive impact on children's lives this summer! We are looking for passionate individuals who love nurturing young minds in a fun and engaging environment. We are needing someone who is able to work May 21st to August 13th between 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons.

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress.

Assist with daily routines including meals, nap times, and playtime.

Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive play.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and materials.

Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team atmosphere.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.

Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children.

Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

Background check clearance required.

Flexible availability during summer months.
