  • Responsibilities

    Kindred Bravely is hiring a temporary hybrid Intimate Apparel Technical Designer to support the Product Development team and fuel new growth initiatives. This is a HYBRID opportunity. You will be required to attend biweekly Fit sessions in Oceanside, California (2-3 days a month). This temporary position is expected to last 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension. 20-30 hours per week.

    • Strong understanding of garment construction, patterns, and fabrics
    • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    • A high level of initiative

    Experience:

    • 4+ years of experience in Technical Design in women's apparel and/or intimates
    • Experience with leading fit sessions and garment sampling processes

    Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

    • Lead in-person & virtual fit sessions

    • Create, update, and maintain technical packages

    • Distribute comments to vendors. Address inquiries and resolve technical-related issues

    • Responsible for sourcing & booking models when needed

    • Monitor and track all stages of the fit approval process to ensure timely approval for bulk delivery and adherence to the Pipeline calendar

    • Quality Assurance: evaluate bulk production if technical-related quality issues are identified

    • Proven pattern-making skills and a deep understanding of specifications, measurements, fit, construction, grade rules, and fabric relation to design intent

    • Nimble, flexible, and team-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

    • Working knowledge of Excel, Google Docs, and Illustrator

    • A strong sense of urgency and can prioritize effectively

    • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with designers to translate creative concepts into actionable tech packs that align with brand standards and product requirements.

    Location: HYBRID opportunity for Southern California. Bi-weekly fit sessions in Oceanside, California (2 -3 days a month). Remote work is allowed when not in the office.

    Education: Bachelor's Degree or Related technical experience

    Salary: $21-$24 /hour, depending on experience.
