    Position Overview

    We are seeking a temporary Web Developer to support the conversion of legacy websites to modern web technologies. This is an entry/junior-level opportunity ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in real-world web development projects.

    The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working within existing frameworks and guidelines to modernize older sites.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Convert legacy websites to updated, modern web technologies using AI Tools and concepts
    • Assist in rebuilding site layouts, content, and functionality
    • Follow established standards and documentation for site conversions
    • Test websites to ensure functionality, performance, and responsiveness
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
    • Make updates and fixes based on feedback and quality checks

    Required Qualifications

    • Basic understanding of web development concepts
    • Familiarity with HTML and CSS
    • Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
    • Strong attention to detail and organization
    • Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a temporary role

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with JavaScript or modern frameworks
    • Familiarity with React and or Next.js is preferred but not required
    • Exposure to content management systems
    • Understanding of responsive design principles
    • Previous coursework, projects, or internships related to web development

    Performance Expectations

    • Two-week training period, with week 3 ramping to a minimum expectation of 3 completed website builds per day
    • Maintain accuracy and quality standards while meeting daily production goals
    • Successfully pass internal quality checks before commission is paid
    • Meet assigned deadlines and weekly output targets
    • Respond promptly to revision requests and implement feedback efficiently
    • Maintain consistent productivity throughout the duration of the temporary assignment
    • Communicate blockers or technical issues proactively

    Compensation Structure:

    • $15 per hour base pay
    • $35 commission for each completed website
