Job Description

 Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Website Developer to assist a federal client in the DC Metropolitan area.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Produce high quality design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
• Support all aspects of the website development life-cycle Ideation, Development, QA, Documentation, Implementation, Testing and Integration
• Rapidly prototype production system features using a variety of tools including, but not limited to; paper prototypes, storyboards, PowerPoint, HTML/CSS or an enterprise available web-based tool
• Advise and assist customer in development of process documentation to support individual tasks, knowledge sharing, and development process workflows
• Provide development, maintenance, and briefing of feature development and progress
• Provide Data Transfer Officer (DTO) support
• Perform all aspects of the development tasks, including front-end, back-end, and database development
• Work with clients to identify recommendations for the appropriate technical and business solutions
• Develop effective user interface prototypes using industry standard software
• Develop and maintain web-enabled capabilities and custom applications

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Thorough knowledge of the inner workings of WordPress; including plugin development, database structure, and guidelines for custom development
• Demonstrated experience building WordPress websites powered by custom themes leveraging structured markup (e.g. BEM, SMACSS) and functionality driven by structured JavaScript and/or jQuery
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
