Job Description

We are looking for an electronics product management engineer talent, who will perform the duties in the following areas:

• Understand and coordinate internal product designs in battery packs, battery management system, and chargers
• Analyze and verify product testing report and provide feedbacks to design teams internally and with project partners and suppliers.
• Generate product design communication documents (PPT and Word)
• Analyze customer product requirements documents
• Engage design and project discussion with customers in written and oral communications, and through regular working group meetings.
• Generate design proposals and project timelines. Manage the project design execution from design, engineering validation to certifications and pilot productions.
• Provide new product support to the customers in terms of trouble shooting, product services, and customer new product launch schedules
• Manage new product introduction through BOM management
• Work with quality teams to address product quality issues.

The candidate shall also have interests in customer communication, business operations and business development. Related duties may include the following (he candidate may work on subset of the listed duties):

• Engage with customer for product/project requirement discovery and analysis.
• Participate in product support to the customers and/or internal business team.
• Perform routine product management duties including product part number generation, datasheet maintenance, product pricing analysis, and support the creation of marketing collaterals.
• Assist with Product Market research to develop product strategy and pricing structure.
• Work with the supply chain management team to execute new product launch plans.
• Work with production and QA to ensure product quality.
• Participate in communicating with vendors for the areas related to product development, manufacture and logistics.
• Participate in working with suppliers globally to provide product requirements and assess supplier’s product proposals in design and cost, and verify product testing results.
• Understand project management and can manage timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering field is a must, electrical engineering is strongly preferred.
• Effective coordination and communication skills.
• Excellent documentation skill.
• 3+ years related experience in electrical design or product management with focus on electronical design
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, strong attention to details
• Teamwork player that can work cross many internal functions as well as external customer engagement

Salary up to $140,000 annually. Junior candidate with less than 3 years experience is welcome to apply, salary may differ.
