  • Responsibilities

     

    • Ensure the day to day warehouse operations 
    • Continuously challenge, analyze and evaluate the warehouse processes and organization, in alignment with the European strategies, objectives and policies.
    • Support the Distribution Manager and the other Management team members in problem solving and decision making in order to grant a lean and efficient working culture.
    • Ensure the implementation and application of EH&S practices according to the TA policies
    • Continuously challenge, analyze and evaluate the warehouse facility and equipment, in alignment with the European strategies, objectives and policies.
    • Ensure follow up of safety, quality and security measures. 
    • Coach direct reports (Group Leader + Customer Service Team) for supervisory functions and develop training program accordingly.

     

    Job responsibilities :

    • Optimize warehouse and IT processes, operations activities and resources to ensure operating costs adhere to TA Fameck budget.
    • Ensure achievement of the Employee Satisfaction Key Performance Indicator: Total Care Rate, Incident rate, Absentees, etc… by applying BOS parameters and processes (Problem solving, Root Cause Analysis, Pareto and trend charts)
    • Drive initiatives like Kaizen, BOS, TVM in order to continuously improve the operations and guarantee timely execution of action plans.  Drive Discipline throughout the organization by “Leading by example”
    • Ensure alignment of customer satisfaction indicators (product availability & picking reliability & customer complaints ratio) with TA european targets.
    • Train & Develop the warehouse team to ensure future succession planning is assured.  Create self-directing teams.

      



    Required Skills
    • Min. 2 years of experience in a supervising role in Logistics Management in a multinational environment.
    • At least 5 years of operational experience in warehouse management; proven knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures.
    • Good experience in labor relations and in Belgian social legislation. 


    Required Experience

    Education/Certification :

    • University Education in Logistics, Economics or other relevant studies).
