    In partnership with the Section Chief Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Rehabilitation, the Program Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the program throughout the SRALab system of care. The Program Manager provides patient care, consultation, staff development and clinical program development ensuring consistent high quality of care throughout the system of care.

     

    The Program Manager will consistently demonstrate support of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab statement of Vision, Mission and Core Values by striving for excellence, contributing to the team efforts and showing respect and compassion for patients and their families, fellow employees, and all others with whom there is contact at or in the interest of the institute.

    Principal Responsibilities

     

    1. Assists with establishing practice standards and overseeing quality of interdisciplinary clinical care, including appropriate development and implementation of clinical protocols, performance standards and policies across the system of care.
    2. Participates in Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders program planning and marketing activities; develops and maintains contact with referral sources, managed-care organizations and other key contacts including department of Neurology, Section of Movement Disorders within Northwestern Medicine.
    3. Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates program success, using metrics and key performance indicators (e.g., safety, outcome, operating, regulatory and financial).
    4. Leads annual Program Assessment to guide and develop goals for the program and organize activities to achieve program specific goals throughout the year.
    5. Identifies key competencies needed to care for a specific population of patients (including specialty certifications) and makes recommendations for pursuing them.
    6. Provides educational opportunities and direct clinical mentoring to clinical professionals throughout the SRALab system of care.
    7. Participates and presents at educational forums on a national level relevant to discipline and specialty practice area.
    8. Partners with administrative director to ensure clinical program meets budgeted volume and contribution margin.
    9. Develops appropriate educational materials for patient, family and other health personnel within the community regarding the rehabilitation options for patients both in the acute care hospital setting and beyond.
    10. Provides direct patient care and consultation for patients at designated clinics.
    11. Performs all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
    12. Opportunities to participate in Research projects.

     

     

     

    Reporting Relationships

    1. Reports directly to the Section Chief, Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Rehabilitation and appropriate Administrative Director.

     

     

    Working Conditions

    1. Normal office environment with little or no exposure to dust or extreme temperature.

     

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

     

    1. Graduated from an accredited program with a current license to practice.
    2. Minimum of 5 years of wide-ranging clinical experience with established clinical expertise in Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders by Board Certification, extensive continuing education experiences, and clinical experience.
    3. Demonstrated experience in determining the best use of resources to meet goals of assignments received in the form of objectives.
    4. Able to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams.
    5. Able to follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
    6. Able to develop and administers schedules, and establish performance requirements
    7. Experience with preparing and adhering to a budget
    8. Able to provide guidance to team members within the latitude of established company policies.
    9. Experience with advising subordinates how to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
    10. Outstanding communication skills.
    11. Computer literacy to a level of application of Microsoft Products.
  • Qualifications
    • Sie verfügen über ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium (Bachelor, Diplom, Master) mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Finanzwirtschaft oder Sie haben eine erfolgreich abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung mit den entsprechenden Qualifikationen (z.B. Bilanzbuchhalter)
    • Sie verfügen über mindestens 7 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Konsolidierung von Finanzdaten in einem produzierenden Umfeld mit mehreren Standorten und in der Steuerung von Investitionsprozessen
    • Sie sind mit den Routineaufgaben im Rahmen von Monatsabschlüssen nach US-GAAP vertraut
    • Sie haben sehr gute Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch
    • Sie haben gute Anwenderkenntnisse in Konsolidierungssystemen wie z.B. Hyperion sowie in MS EXCEL
    • Ihre offene und hilfsbereite Persönlichkeit sowie Ihre Hands-on Mentalität haben Sie in der Vergangenheit ausgezeichnet
