    We are seeking a IT Director Sales & Marketing, Portfolio Lead & Pricing, the IT Analyst will assist in design, implementation and configuration of Tenneco’s Pricing Software according to the customer needs. The IT Pricing Engineer will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating into system/functional requirements. The successful candidate will be an in expert in Pricing processes, working seamlessly with business and IT stakeholders as well as with external technology partners.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Performs business analysis of Pricing solutions and follows through the full development lifecycle.
    • Translates business needs into functional and non-functional requirements \ user stories.
    • Prepares detailed functional descriptions and configures the Pricing solutions accordingly.
    • Prepares test scenarios and conducts system integration / regression testing for system enhancements and upgrades.
    • Coordinates and facilitates work with other IT groups. Could act is Scrum Master in case Agile delivery methodology is chosen.
    • Leads system implementations in collaboration with external technology providers for the assigned area.
    • Initiates and participates in identifying opportunities for introducing business process improvements.
    • Educates others in the business processes and associated reporting tools within the implemented Pricing Software tool suite.
    • Prepares and delivers system and process training as required.
    • Coordinates, implements and communicates system changes.
    • Develop and maintain system documentation.
    • Assists with user support, training and service desk functions related to Pricing requests.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 5 years of working experience with configuration and implementation of Pricing solutions/applications. Price Management and Optimization, CPQ and Deal Management are familiar terms.
    • Business understanding of pricing processes with previous experience in PriceFX, Syncron, Vendavo, Pros, Zilliant, Vistex …
    • Deep experience with writing business requirements and/or user stories.
    • Experience with working in a global, highly virtual environment.
    • Experience in relational and non-relational databases, SQL.
    • Experience with object-oriented programming languages, like Java, Groovy …
    • Experience with web technologies – HTML, JSON, oData, REST API.
    • Experience integrating Pricing software with SAP ERP and/or Salesforce CRM. Knowledge of SAP SD is a plus.
    • Experience with systems implementation in both on-premise and cloud-based scenarios.
    • Knowledge of Agile (Scrum \ KanBan) Project Methodology or Waterfall.
    • Experience with managing the software development lifecycle using GIT.
    • Experience with unit, integration, regression and data testing.
    • Ideal candidate will come with a strong analytical and technical skills.
    • Experience in the automotive and/or manufacturing industries is a plus.
    • Excellent organizational and task management skills. Proficiency to work with various software programs such as Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps, Atlassian JIRA.
    • Strong working knowledge of business processes in the Pricing domain.
    • Ability to communicate requirements in both technical and user friendly language.
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to translate into business requirements \ user stories.
    • Ability to direct efforts to others in remote locations in different time zones.
    • Capable of applying a comprehensive requirement elicitation process and track those requirements all the way through the development and testing processes.
    • Ability to learn new software languages in a short period of time.
    • Ability to configure Tenneco’s pricing software according to Solution Architecture and requirements \ user stories.
    • Ability to establish good business relations at different levels in a virtual organization.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, issue and problem management skills.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
    • Self-directed and proactive; thinks beyond immediate problem.
    • Flexible with ability to change priorities quickly and capacity to handle multiple tasks.
    • Requires travel up to 10% (domestic and international).
