    Tenneco is looking for a driven manufacturing engineer to oversee and improve the current manufacturing processes in the Cambridge, Ohio facility. The manufacturing engineer will identify and implement process improvements, assist in maintaining current production and quality levels, and ensure conformance with applicable regulatory standards.

    Required Skills

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide manufacturing support for new and existing programs by means of preparing designs, drawings, process documentation and soliciting quotations for process assembly equipment.
    • Implement repairs and/or improvements on existing processes and equipment.
    • Manage capital projects.
    • Take part in and/or lead cross functional teams to accomplish plant/process improvements.
    • Research and evaluate new manufacturing equipment.
    • Work closely with plant quality, production, maintenance, and purchasing departments for timely project completion.
    • Maintain documentation relating to projects, products, vendors, component parts and new technologies.
    • Train production and maintenance personnel on new processes and process improvements.
    • Assist Engineering Manager in management of department.
    • Perform safety analyses as led by EH&S department on supported equipment.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering experience.

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • 3-5 years of engineering experience.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to handle multipe projects and deliver results in a timely manner.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Project.
    • Knowledge of 2D or 3D software design. Autocad, Autodesk Inventor or Creo Parametric is preferred.
    • Ability to troubleshoot automated machinery and processes.
    • Experience with industrial electrical controls, pneumatics and hydraulics. Isostatic pressing experience a plus.
    • Experience with industrial robots. Yaskawa robotics preferred.
    • Data analytics experience a plus.
