  • Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities of the Regional MET Manager are defined by the scope of RASIC Chart for Program Management, the main job is as the mfg leader for global program that work with plant MET to finish all mfg activities as following:

    • Identification of the RFQ risk from the view of manufacturing and in terms of the Tenneco core competence and standardizations
    • Work with TCTC for manufacturing feasibility study and solutions accordingly
    • Issue the manufacturing concept design package for rounds of quotations
    • Submit PMO the investment plan for CAR application, the investment plan should be based on fully analysis of whole CN capacity utilization
    • Release the final version of manufacturing design and detail design package for fixture and gauge with SOW, the whole process design should follow China Mfg Design Standard what is defined in China Mfg Design Handbook
    • Release the CTQs on the components and on-process to quality team
    • Release PFMEA
    • Support quality team for control plan set up which should be matched exactly with PFMEA and work instruction in shop floor
    • Support plant process for machine, fixture and gauge pre-acceptance and final acceptance
    • Follow up the result of OTS and PPAP performance
    • Set up Lesson Learned and feedback to CN CCT

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • 5 to 6 years experience in manufacturing company or mechanical industry related to automotive business, preferred in industrialization / industrial engineering, ideally in a company with multi-plants
    • At least graduated from 211 university.
    • Rich experience and knowledge in manufacturing / process design, know very well in process capability control, plus experience on shop floor is perfect
    • Strong skill on drawing reading, know very well on GD&T
    • Analytical skills, conceptual thinking, structured approach to topics, drive to execution,
    • Strong self -starter & doer with good education background
    • Ability to coach process engineering team in plants
    • Know project management, but don’t need rich experienc
    • Ability to travel to support the job onsite and attend training ,workshop, conference call to expand / share job knowledge and skills within China.
