    This is a great opportunity to join us as LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR in our site in Ermua, Spain. In this key role, you organize and manage all activities in the Logistics area including supervision of the Logistics team members in implementing work processes. Next to building and developing team leadership skills, you will assess and coach Team Leaders and Team Members in optimizing resources in the most efficient manner consistent with standard work procedures, work instructions, quality standards and safety parameters. You will ensure company policies are followed.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Lead the Internal Logistics team (around 25 people, depending the number of temps. and interims)
    • Assure material flow
    • Lead the “Cycle Counting” process
    • Assure the good performance of the lift trucks
    • Lead the team in creating a safe working environment by organizing & holding monthly safety meetings for safety education, risk assessments, accident investigations & other related activities to increase safety awareness.
    • Investigate reports and communicates all accidents, injuries and / or illness and near misses within area of responsibility.
    • KPI`s Management
    • Coach Team Leaders in raising their Safety, Quality, and Process awareness & in carrying out tasks, while mentoring them to expose and resolve any hidden quality, safety, and process issues.
    • Develop, implement and execute standard work for themselves and Team Leaders in their area.
    • Review hourly performance of each Team Leaders area and supports countermeasures to address any performance issues the Team Leader cannot resolve, and defines actions, mentoring, or solutions to prevent their recurrence.
    • Review Team Performance Boards and manages the group’s performance KPI’s for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People using the Group Performance Board and related weekly/monthly documents.
    • Draft Lessons Learned safety documents for their assigned area to support knowledge sharing across all teams.
    • Carry out LPA’s as required.
    • Champion a 5S culture in the assigned area, ensures standards are achieved / maintained and continue to improve.
    • Be aware of the Team Leader’s and Team Member’s condition & communicates frequently, ensures stability in the team. Promptly report issues to the FF Leader / Production Manager & the HR department if needed.
    • Develop supports & monitor activities to foster teamwork & engagement within the team.

     

     

    Required Skills Required Experience

    WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

    • College Degree or equivalent.
    • 5+ years of Logistic management experience. Automotive experience preferred.
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Fluent in English
    • SAP Knowledge it`s highly desirable
    • Able to communicate effectively (verbal and writing)
    • Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects and tasks at once, and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced work environment to meet tight deadlines.

  • Qualifications

    · Bachelor’s degree from 4years college or university  · 4-5years solid experience in the field of logistics operation in MFG · Working knowledge of SAP system is preferable, or experiences in some other MRP/ERP systems · Excellent computer skills (Excel / Word / Power Point) · Excellent communication skill in English and Japanese  · Ability to establish priorities and ensure good usage of resources. · Flexible response to change and Self starter
