    This is a unique opportunity to join an international company as a FINANCE DIRECTOR  for our Braking PLANT in Mondovi, Italy. In this role you will OVERSEE ALL FINANCIAL ACTIVITIES, including budgeting, month-end reporting, internal controls and year-end audits and all the financial reporting. You will provide financial analysis to all the stakeholders inside the region and in the US. You proactively participate and coordinate the PLANNING PROCESS. Thanks to your knowledge of manufacturing operations and commercial transactions, you ASSIST THE MANAGEMENT in making profitable business decision and you ensure that the corporate assets are protected by maintaining internal control.

    Our production site in Mondovi counts 330 employees and is specialized in the production of brake pads for the OE and Original Equipment Suppliers Global market.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    AS PLANT CONTROLLER OF MONDOVI PLANT

     

    • Preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reporting
    • Preparation of the analysis of the variances and propose appropriate corrective actions
    • Stimulate the profitability and cash improvement actions
    • Develop, execute and control internal procedures including spending authorizations in respect of Corporate policies
    • Contribute to Business plans elaboration and financial justifications for new business
    • Lead and give direction to all accounting and reporting activities, coordination of AR and AP
    • Review financial impact of current and future operations
    • Ensure and support month end closure and annual closure HGB/USGAAP
    • Deliver Budget/FCST preparation and analysis
    • Analysis of profitability (customers, product lines)
    • Preparation of Business Review presentations
    • Ensure SOX compliance, company standards and establish and maintain an environment of internal control and integrity
    • Contact person for internal and external auditors
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    AS FINANCE DIRECTOR ITALY

     

    • Maintain contact with the parent company ensuring that the policies and strategies are correctly included in the Italian tax system
    • Maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company
    • Maintain the internal audit program to ensure that the company complies with financial procedures and regulations
    • Direct and control finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed and so that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard
    • Develop and control the company’s annual operating “budget – fiscal closure” to ensure that all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations complied with
    • Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and staff to enable them to achieve their objectives
    • Oversee the preparation of the company's financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time
    • Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial and legal obligations

    Required Skills

    • Master in Finance or Economics or equivalent by experience is required. An MBA constitutes an advantage
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience is required, including a previous experience as Plant Controller, as well as a demonstrated ability to drive change and continuous improvement
    • Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory. Knowledge of any other European languages is a plus
    • A good knowledge of QAD and Hyperion. A very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel) is required
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Precise, focus on outstanding result and deadline oriented
    • Team player
    • Able to drive change and continuous improvement
