  • Responsibilities

    The SBU Financial Planning Analyst reports to and is a direct partner of the Senior SBU Finance Manager. In his/her role, the SBU Financial Planning Analyst shares assignments and supports the SBU Controlling Team in the following functions (these includes all but are not limited to the below items)

     

    • Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate, transparent and timely manner
    • Communicate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in comparison to prior year(s), forecast and budget
    • Manage the SBU´s financial monitoring and reporting systems
    • Research and report on factors influencing business performance, and adjust reporting requirements accordingly (set new KPI´s when need be)
    • Conduct reviews and evaluations for performance improvements opportunities
    • Supervise annual internal audit processes, provide support and/or guidance to the plants in relation to SOX audits
    • Communicate, monitor and ensure compliance to the company’s guidelines and procedures
    • Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process
    • Oversee and lead monthly forecasts
    • Implement robust communication processes with the plants
    • Assess the finance organization´s resources and competencies in order to maximize individual and organization goals
    • Prioritize tasks and requirements diligently, whether routine or ad-hoc
    • Ensure that all statutory requirements of the various legal entities are met
    • Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate


    Required Skills
    • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience
    • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a finance role
    • Excellent communication skills: particularly in regard to presenting the results of analyses to management, and in working closely and transparently with all partners
    • Outstanding knowledge of computing tools
    • Strong English communication skills: verbal and written
