    This is a great opportunity to join us as a MANHATTAN WMS SENIOR SYSTEMS ANALYST, part of the IT Team in our Motorparts EMEA BU.  In this role you will responsible for the high-level configuration, design and integration of Manhattan WMS system with both material handling and ERP systems. You will partner with project managers, application developers, and business users in defining business processes and configuring WMS to meet the needs of the business - a Distribution Center for the Motorparts BU located in Belgium.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

     

    System Configuration, Design, Development, Validation and Implementation

    • Assists in Transforming requirements into software design and/or configuration of Manhattan WMS, Material Handling systems
    • Documents functional capabilities of Manhattan WMS and Material Handling software and integrations of Manhattan WMS and Material Handling software to other Tenneco systems
    • Leads in producing deliverables including configuration/tailoring documents; integrations; user mock-ups, and development as needed
    • Documents functional and integration design specifications for software developers/programmers
    • Leads group to resolve questions and issues during configuration and development cycles
    • Defines testing cases and executes test scripts to ensure that systems meet the needs of the business
    • Performs system testing and leads user acceptance testing cycle
    • Executes implementation tasks and ensures successful go-live
    • Gathering Requirements and Analysis
    • Analyzes current and future state business processes
    • Evaluates alternatives and defines a recommended system approach
    • Produce deliverables including business process flows; use cases; and storyboards
    • Facilitates project and administrative meetings
    • Evaluates and participates in purchased software selection process
    • Ensures compliance with SOX
    • Trains users on system processes and changes
    • Performs other duties as assigned that support overall objective of the position

    Required Skills Required Experience

    WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

    • Bachelor ’s degree in Computer Science/Software Design, Computer Information Systems or equivalent
    • 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH MANHATTAN WMS and minimum of 3 years of experience in an analyst role performing system analysis and writing functional specifications
    • Proven experience and success in integrating Manhattan WMS software with material handling and ERP applications
    • Experienced with Oracle database systems
    • Experienced with ERP, Distribution and logistics business processes
    • Fluent in English
    • Skilled in being a strong team player, i.e.; flexible, collegial, and enthusiastic
    • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple project assignments
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Ability to effectively communicate with non-technical audience
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
    • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
    • ability to travel up to 25%
