There's never been a better time to join the team at Tenneco! We are an automotive company that engineers and manufactures components for nearly every major automotive brand to make vehicles cleaner and safer. With our recent acquisition of Federal-Mogul, we also supply additional technology and some of the world's most recognizable aftermarket brands to manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors and service facilities. These products improve fuel economy, reduce emissions and enhance safety. With our product portfolio, dedication to quality, global reach, entrepreneurial setting and competitive strength, we're at a great place to build a lasting career.
Tenneco is seeking a driven, self-motivated Engineering, Business, or Finance focused student who has an interest in gaining hands-on experience in Cost Estimating working at our Corporate facility in Grass Lake, Michigan.
As a Tenneco Summer Corporate Cost Estimating Intern, you will be given the opportunity to learn about how our team analyzes and develops product cost calculations as baseline input for customer quotations and/or internal cost improvement activities. These calculations are created based on inputs from multiple functional groups throughout the organization. It is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with manufacturing processes, purchasing, finance, engineering, and program management.
