  • Responsibilities

    • Liaison with customer technical personal and Tenneco commercial personnel. • Identify and document technical requirements of customer’s applications. • Direct design process from inception through PPAP. • Responsible for product design and insure design is robust and in compliance with all regulations affecting performance, safety, and the environment. • Insure design analysis and validation processes are followed (analytical tools, DVP&R, etc.) • Direct construction and testing of  prototypes and support customer prototype requirements. • Insure that product development and launch timing objectives are set and met. • Follow all company policies and procedures such as the quality management system, APQP, etc. • Ensures all works are carried out in good conditions respecting EHS procedures, company standards and applicable norms & legislation.

    Required Skills

    • Customer interface skills required (written, oral, and presentation) • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project. • Knowledge of IATF16949 system, and well trained in GD&T skill is preferred. • Be known with APQP/DFMEA/PPAP tools, and DFSS is preferred. • Can use the software of CAD or UG or Catia is preferred. • Fluent in spoken and written English or German.

The main products of NVH include isolators (some are patent designed as shown on the slide), bushings include hydraulic bushing, dual compound bushing and pure NVHic bushing serving different applications, NVH is also inventing new ways of designing & manufacturing top mount with module design concept, in order to save cost & weight. NVH Suzhou was set up in 2006 and moved to current plant in 2012, Suzhou plant is capable of full manufacturing process include rubber mixing, chemical bonding, vulcanization & assembly, and currently employing 500+ employees.     Required Experience

    • BS in Engineering or equivalent. • Minimum three years’ product design and development experience with automotive industry background; • Be familiar with design and development process of rubber products, with the background of top mount and rubber damper is preferred.

  • Qualifications
