    We are seeking an Engineering Manager. This position will report directly to the Plant manager,  They will recommend and executing strategic objectives and related tactical initiatives for the Maryville plant. Specifically, the Manager, Business. This high visibility role requires interaction with Salaried and hourly employees, strong excel and effective communication and presentation skills.

     

    The team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. You’ll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager. We pride ourselves on moving through processes quickly, and you can be sure of transparency and prompt communication throughout.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Knowledge in manufacturing processes, metal working, and machining is a plus.
    • Must be a self-starter who can work with minimum of supervision and work from general direction to attain a specific goal.
    • Must be capable of communicating effectively to all levels of employees, both orally and in writing
    • Directing engineering staff to attain the general direction of planned detailed tasks and specific goals.
    • To continuously develop the manufacturing, and facility aspects of the operations.
    • Assists staff in implementing and improving the manufacturing operations and in complying with applicable division, corporate or governmental regulations.
    • Performs other assignments (or duties) as required

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science degree in an applicable Engineering field.

     

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

     

    • 5+ Years of engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
    • Strong problem-solving, and conceptual skills with the ability to build relationships and influence others without direct authority to get projects accomplished.  
    • Knowledge of automotive industry and innovative technology preferred.
    • Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills; at ease with both business and technical topics.
