    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensures proper and timely registration of all machines and equipment, changes recorded and structure maintained in the EMSEC database,
    • Assists and facilitates review and design criteria for new and relocated equipment,
    • Ensures the objectives on machine safety and design criteria are achieved and company standards in terms of approved components in machine safety design are adhered to,
    • Conducts or participates in the acceptance review audits for new and refurbished equipment,
    • Completes these assessment documents accordingly and defines / instructs / verifies corrective actions when applicable,
    • Upon request or on personal initiative, provides technical support to equipment design engineers, EHS Coordinators and process engineers in the area of safety.

    Required Skills

    LANGUAGE: English (required)

    EDUCATION BACKGROUND:

    • Electrical Engineer (Bachelor),
    • Master degree (preferable) in Mechatronics Engineering, Automation and Robotics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience in electrical engineering design,
    • Experience in machine safety audits according to European Regulations.

    Required Experience

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Mandatory in depth knowledge of electrical wiring diagrams and electrical system design,
    • Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems,
    • Affinity for safety PLC programming,
    • Knowledge of the principles of Technical Protection Equipment,
    • Capability of assisting in complex projects, involving a multitude of disciplines,
    • Capability of working & communicating with all levels within the organization,
    • Very good knowledge of MS Office, English,
    • Higher education (faculties related to Mechatronics Engineering, Machine Safety Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Design Engineering),
    • Additional education or certificates in terms of EHS is welcomed,
    • Min. 2 years’ experience in a similar position (Electrical Engineer, Machinery Designer etc.),
    • SEP qualifications up to 1kV are welcomed,
    • Knowledge of regulations related to Machine Safety in general (European Directives and Harmonized Standards, Polish law regulations),
    • Developed communication and interpersonal skills, ability to cooperate with a team, Good organization of work, discipline, initiative, stress resistance.
