    Tenneco, Inc. has recently acquired Federal Mogul. The strategic combination of Tenneco’s Ride Performance business with Federal-Mogul’s Motorparts business will establish a global aftermarket leader, DRiV Automotive Inc, with an impressive portfolio of some of the strongest brands in the aftermarket including Monroe®, Walker®, Wagner®, Champion®, Fel-Pro® and MOOG®. 

    DRiV Automotive Inc. is looking for students bringing a team-oriented spirit, an eagerness to learn and a strong analytical ability. As an Accounts Receivable Intern, you will be involved in supporting the Global & U.S. Managers of the receivable function and will be a part of the broader Finance Shared Services department.  The intern will be exposed to the credit and collections function, from customer financial statement analysis to collection-related issues.

    The Accounts Receivables Intern will be responsible for customer dispute/deduction research, root cause analysis and reconciliation/resolution and Customer financial statements will need to be gathered and analyzed toward the summary of the risk profile of the customer base.

    Required Skills

    REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION: 

    • The active pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
    • Junior or Senior status by September 2019.

     

    Required Experience

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask
    • Interest in automotive tier 1 component industry
    • Strong motivation to drive results
    • Ability to establish and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
    • Strong analytical skills necessary to plan and priorities own work on schedule
    • Ability to drive and solve problems and suggest proactive solutions
    • Permanent work authorization in the U.S.
