    We are looking for a Supply Chain Process Leader. This Position’s primary mission is to develop, implement, train, improve, measure and tactically support supply chain systems & processes in the manufacturing operation. Compliance and assessment of the process maturity level with the Tenneco Operating System, take appropriate actions and the change management required to sustain the consistent execution of the formal business process.  This position will ensure the process improvements are in-line with the overall Business System and wider business objectives around inventory management, material controls & process standardization. Strategic focus with tactical responsibilities to drive key metric performance and cost reduction within the material operations.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for material systems and processes within the plant operations.
    • Key measure performance, continuous improvement of Material Control processes and procedures.
    • SME for Supply Chain processes, technology and training.
    • Employ techniques / methods for effective problem solving and continuous improvement.
    • Assist with coordination of engineering changes, product balance outs and new product launches, within the plant system, with suppliers and customer.
    • Maintain PFEP/Master Data.
    • SAP Super user, provide training and rollout of new material business process.
    • Lead Special Projects.
    • Work with regional and global teams to develop and implement standard supply chain processes.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • 5 to 10 years of applicable materials management experience; 2 to 5 years of formal leadership / management experience.
    • Demonstrated minimum 5 years’ experience with ERP SAP System.
    • Advanced broad based supply chain management, process development and manufacturing operations knowledge.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP ERP Systems.
    • Demonstrated competency in the MS Office Suite of products.
    • Above average communication skills – oral, written and presentation skills.
    • Superior organization, planning, technical and negotiation skills.
    • Superior process, analytical and problem solving skills – apply / execute formal techniques.
