  • Responsibilities

    To develop & maintain strong internal control environment through systems, processes and trainings, thereby safeguarding the assets of JV company. Supports and works together with Business Unit / Region / company management / JV partners for company business growth and profitability enhancement.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Develops and maintains the proper & adequate internal control environment in all operations and processes in the company to ensure the compliance with Tenneco company policies • Responsible for annual standard cost development & maintenance, manages and controls the plant manufacturing actual cost and supports plant operation by conducting periodic cost variance analysis and other costing analysis • Provides a professional, advisory and executative support service to Plant Manager and Senior Management to assist & monitor in meeting the strategic goals & KPIs of the company • Manages Tenneco financial reporting, forecasting & planning for the company • Ensures statutory reports / other statutory records / tax filing are produced and provided in a prompt and accurate manner to appropriate parties as per the requests from government / bank / JV partner, maintains the accuracy of GAAP variance between K-IFRS vs US-GAAP • Leads in the plant on business planning including weekly flash, periodic forecasts, operation reviews, annual budget, long term strategic plans etc… • Trains operational and accounting staff as requirements

    Required Skills

    • Accounting background with at least college education • A 5+ years experience in Automotive or manufacuturing – industrial industries accounting & finance • Ability to work in different cultural environments and develop a team based environment • Familiar with Korean IFRS and US GAAP • ERP system working experience, SAP system is a plus • Good team player with strong interactive ability to break down barriers and get cooperation through respect / communication and leadership, JV working experience is a plus • Fluent in Korean & English
