    We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our HR team based out of Grass Lake, Michigan to contribute to our Clean Air business group. This position is responsible for providing Business Partner support to Clean Air operations functions. Essential functions of this position will include strategic talent reviews, succession planning, and performance planning.

    PRIMARY DUTIES:

    • Work together with Operations HR Director in strategic talent reviews, succession planning, and performance planning.
    • Report on various outstanding tasks/trainings in TMS- provide updates to leadership.
    • Update absenteeism data weekly in PowerBI for all of NACA.
    • Review, compile and analyze salaried compensation.
    • Liaison for employees in regards to directing to the appropriate person for answers regarding benefits, payroll, etc.
    • Coordination of Workers Comp, STD and FML claims with TPA.
    • Use SAP to make necessary changes to employee data.
    • Submit Personal Action Forms to Payroll to reflect any changes in pay or other compensation data.
    • Assist in the facilitation of various training for employees, including Performance Management, SLT (DDI), and Targeted Selection.
    • Understand and manage to compliance the TS16949 requirements for Human Resources.
    • Assist HR Director in various projects and initiatives specific to Operations across the region.
    • Travel to plants in North America to provide backup support as needed, <10% of the time.

     

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
    • At least two years in Human Resources field.
    • Experience with talent development.
    • Ability to effectively present information to employees and management.
    • Experience functioning in a technical environment preferred.
